Block Island is 13 miles (21 kilometers) and a one-hour ferry ride from southern Rhode Island, with longer ferries from New London, Connecticut, and Montauk, New York. Units are spacious with many unique layouts, each with a full kitchen. This quintessential New England maritime island offers two lighthouses, Victorian architecture, shopping, seafood, gourmet cuisine, beaches, deep-sea fishing, sailing, horseback and bike riding, and the nation's only offshore wind farm. Forty percent of the island is preserved open space with an extensive trail system. Neptune House has no ground units or elevators.
